Shakira is currently in Paraguay, the pop star has been seen on a pet shop in Jose Ignacio, last December 2. She was there with her brother Antonio, the Colombian beauty was wearing a white shirt and a long skirt, very casual and fresh. Shaki has a small dog, it was given by her fiancé Antonio, she told a reporter that Antonio has carrying a bag where the dog was hidden, of course she thought that she has too much pursers and she didn't needed it but then she saw the white little puppy! |

Hey I'm so happy today, last night the girl who sang Shakira's "underneath your clothes" hit song, Vera Feu, and her mother were expelled from the Superstar Family, the audience didn't vote to keep them on the reality show! Like I said yesterday that's what I call Karma! Portugal loves Shakira, she sold over 300 thousand copies there. If you didn't read the first post about this story you should know that Vera Feu said that she hates the lovely Colombian singer and she doesn't like that song at all, she also behave like a stupid diva while she was singing the ballad! |

According to Shakira the first single from Oral Fixation tour DVD will be out soon, she said that on a chat where she answered some questions made by her fans. Shakira revealed that she'll start to record her next studio album in February, and she haven't start to write any song yet. She spoke about changing her hair color, she said that she wants to dye it red or maybe purple!!! but she's not sure so she doesn't do anything. The latin singer also said that she'll visit Brazil on her next tour of promotion her next album, maybe in the end of 2008 or beginning of 2009. |

 Yesterday a Portuguese girl whose name is Vera Feu performed Shakira's hit song "Underneath your clothes", that seems to be a good thing, but she doesn't like Shakira, she also said that she hates her!Vera and her mother are contesters on a SIC show "Família superstar" (which means Superstar Family in English), Shakira gave two very special interviews in Portuguese to that channel in 2005 and 2007 and they are always talking good things about her. Well the 27 years old was very moody that night, like if she was obligated to do that, she was acting like a diva, the judges told her she wasn't the one who chooses the songs and she made a bad performance! The family Feu (the woman and her mother) have been nominated to leave the contest, that's what I call karma! |

According to several sources Antonio de la Rua cheated on Shakira, and the paparazzi's caught him! Shakira went to the premier of "Love in times of cholera" alone, last Sunday, she was looking lovely, smiling... so good to look at those pictures of her! But now she must be really sad  , this can be just a stupid rumour, but radio stations around the world are talking about it and many magazines will do the same.Maybe antonio de la Rua will start to sleep on the street! What was your inspiration for the songs? The songs try to situate themselves at the beginning of the century, a time when romanticism was the foundation and the goal of everything. What does love mean to you right now? It’s my primary nourishment. I think that nothing else in life, not even your career or music – well, what I’m saying is a bold statement – I think that nothing can substitute love as the propelling force of everyone’s lives. It’s number one on my list of priorities, of course. What do you like best about the movie? How people loved each other during that era. How we’d like to love today, how we yearn to love today. You have a love like that today… (She laughs) Yes, I’m very fortunate to love someone. I think to always be able to have someone to love, not only the love of a couple, [but also] love of a family, friends. It’s the most important support system in a life full of obstacles and problems, because we all have problems. Just because I’m a celebrity on the red carpet doesn’t mean I don’t have problems. I’ve got them too, but there always has to be someone to support us. What really touched you about the movie? The old Cartagena, the Cartagena that I love. Man’s solitude and vulnerability. We don’t see that in men these days. They always show their strong side, so seeing vulnerability and weakness, but also the strength that lives in the love of Florentino Ariza (the main character) is something that makes me think about a past that’s gone, but perhaps still lives in everyone’s hearts. I think there’s a Florentino and a Fermina hidden in all of us. Has the love displayed in this movie touched you enough to plan your own wedding? (She laughs) I don’t have time, but we’re patient, we’ve got Florentino Ariza’s patience. We’ll get married eventually, or we won’t, but we’re together and that’s what matters. We love each other and we want to stay like that. Why fix something that’s not broken. How did it go at UCLA? I liked it a lot. It was a great experience, and I’m going to continue my studies. Where are you going to spend Christmas? I’m going to do a bunch of things. I’m going to Bangladesh in December, and I might go back to Colombia to be with my family a little.  "Shakira is both a highly visual artist and a bilingual one, and her choice of Miami, the concluding stop on her 397-day world tour supporting the two Oral Fixation albums, as the performance to be filmed for a concert video was appropriate. During the hour-and-a-half show, she mixed songs and stage remarks in Spanish with some in English (but much more of the former than the latter), and that didn't seem to faze the largely young and female audience filling the auditorium. Bounding across the wide stage and changing clothes frequently, the singer proved to be as much of a dancer as a vocalist, her signature moves, usually executed in costumes baring her midriff, drawn from belly dancing, whether that meant rolling her hips in an undulating manner or thrusting her chest out forcefully. The sexual bravado of such exertions was accentuated, of course, by the performances of such hit songs as "Underneath Your Clothes" and "Hips Don't Lie." But just as often, Shakira exhibited a frisky, more innocent charm . It really didn't matter much whether she was singing in Spanish or English, since her vocal mannerisms tended to obscure the lyrics except for the repeated choruses. (Given the physical effort involved in the dancing, it was hard not to suppose that some of that singing was prerecorded anyway.) She went with her fiancé Antonio de la Rúa, the lovely Colombian beauty was wearing an amazing long green dress, and hair was looking so good!She performed the two song that she made for the movie's soundtrack and "Pienso en ti", which is from Shakira's third album Pies Descalzos, but it's also on the soundtrack. The evening concludes at the Palms' Brenden Theaters with the Las Vegas premiere of Love in the Time of Cholera, which opens wide in the U.S. on November 16. |

On November 13, Shakira will be releasing a Live DVD filmed during her Oral Fixation World Tour. The release is a live DVD and behind the scenes footage from Shakira's l40-city, 2006/07 world tour which was attended by more than 2.5 million fans in North America, South America, Europe, Africa and Southeast Asia. Directed by Nick Wickham, the DVD features Shakira in l7 thrilling performances (listing below) with guest performances from Alejandro Sanz and Wyclef Jean. Also included are three bonus video clips, behind the scenes footage and a documentary of Shakira's visit to Colombia in support of her Pies Descalzos foundation which builds schools in poor areas of the country. A bonus CD of the live songs will be included with the DVD. Shakira's Oral Fixation tour sold out all around the world, and she made history when she performed in front of 200,000 fans at Mexico City's Plaza del Zocalo, the largest crowd in Mexican history. She played at the pyramids in Egypt and for the first time in Dubai.  To celebrate the release of the Colombia-set romantic drama Love in the Time of Cholera and her contributions to its soundtrack, international recording/performing sensation Shakira will give a special performance of songs from the soundtrack at a November 6 event serving both as the Las Vegas premiere of the film and as a benefit for The Bare Feet Foundation (Pies Descalzos Foundation). The evening, which takes place at the Palms Casino Resort beginning at 6:00 p.m., will be hosted by Stone Village Pictures, New Line Cinema, Scott Steindorff, and Robin and Danny Greenspun, and co-sponsored by the N9NE Group, the CineVegas Film Festival, Brenden Theaters and the Palms Casino Resort. The event kicks off with a dinner and silent auction at Rain nightclub, with all proceeds going to The Bare Feet Foundation, a Colombian nonprofit aiding children and their families established through the commitment of Shakira.  Shakira recorded two duets with singer Pedro Aznar for the movie "Love in The time Of Cholera".The songs are "Hay Amores" and "La Despedita", another song from her album "Pies Descalzos", called "Pienso en Ti", will also be on the movie's track list. The film is all about the writings of the Columbian author Gabriel Garcia Marquez who is also a close friend of Shakira. The premiere will be held in Italy at the Venice film festival, in the end of August. |

Her lecturer was Robert Cleve, who sasid that he was really impressed with how intelligent Shakira was.In her interviews Shakira has previously said that she is a history fanatic, likes to read historical books, would like to play a historic character and study more about the history of various countries. During her world tour, in several countries Shakira hired a lecturer who taught her about the history of the country she was visiting. |
